More about the Best Western Royal Hotel

This purpose built and graceful hotel is long established and has been subject to a major investment programme in latter years making it a comfortable place to stay. The newly refurbished contemporary restaurant, 'Seasons', offers both table d'hote and a la carte menus and specialises in using fresh local produce.

Our "Seasons" restaurant has held a Rosette since 2008. The AA say “This Rosette award reflects excellent restaurants that stand out in their local area. The food is prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good-quality ingredients.”

The main Royal bar, Bar 27, offers appealing bar meals and is a welcoming place for guests to meet and relax. A secure dedicated on-site free car park offers 16 spaces for hotel guests.
